Participant Advisory Group
Participant Advisory Group (PAG)
The Participant Advisory Group plays a central role in ensuring we hear and act upon the views and opinions of UK Biobank participants.
The members come from across the UK and together they are broadly reflective of the UK Biobank cohort. The PAG has up to 20 members and it is chaired by our Chief Scientist, Professor Naomi Allen.
The PAG provides advice on a wide range of topics and activities including:
- communication with participants and the public
- resolving issues relating to collecting, storing and sharing participant data
- designing UK Biobank studies.
Get involved
We are always looking for participants who are willing to get involved and provide their views on UK Biobank’s work.
You do not need to have any prior knowledge of health research. In fact, we would like to encourage participants who have had other personal and professional experiences to get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
Please contact us on PPIErecruitment@ukbiobank.ac.uk to express your interest and we will be in touch.
