Online Event - A unique picture of health: the UK Biobank imaging project
Online event Thursday 6th June 2024 - 1pm
Join us on Thursday 6th June for an online event to find out how the UK Biobank imaging project is transforming health and what to expect when you attend your own UK Biobank imaging visit.
UK Biobank’s Imaging Project is the largest whole-body imaging study in the world and our goal is unprecedented; we want to image 100,000 UK Biobank participants through safe and painless scans. With over 80,000 of your fellow participants already scanned we are nearing our target, but we need your help to achieve it.
During the event we will share with you details on what to expect when you attend your UK Biobank imaging visit and how to book an appointment. You will have the chance to ask questions directly of our Bristol Imaging Centre Manager, Tonia Didcott.
We will also be joined by a researcher who has been approved to use UK Biobank data. They will share their insights into the value of the imaging data for health research and delve into some innovative scientific discoveries which have already been made using these data.
Join on your computer, tablet or mobile.
