Social Interactions and Focus Questionnaire
Social interactions and focus questionnaire
An important topic that has a potentially significant impact upon people’s health and well-being throughout their life is the way in which they interact with other people and the quality of the relationships that they develop. Everyone also differs in their capacity to focus their attention, organise themselves, and control their activity levels and impulsive behaviour. Difficulties in these areas can interfere with people’s abilities to function in various aspects of their lives, such as their work, family relationships and leisure activities.
In June 2023, we launched an important new questionnaire which aims to gather information to enable research into these issues. We hope that this work will lead to improvements in treating problems in these areas, which often start in childhood but can occur in both young people and adults.
Invitations to complete this questionnaire are being sent to participants by email but you can also fill out this questionnaire by logging on to the participant section of the website using your PID and personal details (if you have not shared your email address with UK Biobank or if you missed the email). As always, your responses to this questionnaire are confidential and will only be used for health-related research that is in the public interest.
