Lay summary
Aim: The main aim of our study is to do genetic association study with stroke in order to identify its genetic risk factors. Rationale: Genetics is such a powerful tool for identifying disease etiology. We will understand key mechanism of stroke based on the findings from this proposed genetic study. Duration: This study will take 3 years. Impact: Better understanding stroke mechanism by genetics provides promising grounds for implications for clinical practice and development of therapeutic approaches for the disease.
